I'll never go back which is a shame b/c they do have killer baklava...the only good experience I'd had here.GREAT PLACE! Beer never came. I was worried about waiting forever, so I went over and put my name down earlier and when we got there, we waited about 15 minutes. We recently enjoyed lunch at the Bistro and what an awesome choice!!!! The restaurant was not busy and so I ordered an appetizer while I waited on my order. They seem to focus on the queens arms bar next door.

I had to ask multiple times for more water, and the kids' food was awful.

My husband enjoys the shepherd's pie. I love watching people (some call it stalking). We had a party of 7 adults and a 3yr old. Service is friendly and they work in a timely fashion and the pastries all look very tempting.

A just-right portion of deliciousness for a decent price. Go the food home. Good place to get a drink or snack on a walk through the trails in Haile. The place was dead! Haile Village Bistro is nestled inside Haile Village Center which is a quaint neighborhood filled with shops, restaurants and homes. The bar area, nestled away from the main restaurant is the hidden gem of this place. Lunch was great (try the Avocado Wrap) or get many of the beers they have on Tap. Everyone raved about the sword fish at my table so it was a real hit.This restaurant really takes good care of you.

I also went back and had a half portion of the fish and chips, which is certainly a generous enough portion at half the price of the full-sized platter.

This is now one of our standby takeout places!Haile Village Bistro is dog friendly-they even gave our dog a milk bone. Plan a long night if you head to the Bistro! The waitress wasn't very attentive. Sat down ordered a beer. My favorite dish was their chicken pesto penne which was on their old menu. Hair in coleslaw so who knows, for every step forward they made one step back. However when I finally got the Ruben and bistro burger they were both good. this place is definetly a hidden gem for people who dont want to be around drunk college students  living in gainesville.

This is one of our favorite date night spots!We have been very disappointed   We had made a reservation for 10 people because we were celebrating our daughters graduation.

For what they are charging on their menu for meals the service and stinginess with the bread is ridiculous.
