I'm obsessed. Arrived mid-evening on a Monday and was quiet, so seated promptly and given the choice of restaurant or bar, and we chose bar. We sat on their small patio (because COVID) and it started to slightly rain - the entire staff was on top of it fixing umbrellas into their patio structure, despite the strong winds and the multiple attempts to keep it up. Very friendly and attentive staff: food is exactly what you want.

i absolutely love the pulled pork and the mac and cheese is to die for. We sat outside and went during the happy hour (3-6pm during the weekdays) Highly recommend the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese as sides.Wow, I didn't know my neighborhood had good food. I took my time and ate them real slow. Delicious and large portions. Mac and cheese a standout for me.We ate here during our last night in Chicago, looking for somewhere casual, but with good bbq food.

So She can experience the same joy I did....and I MUST meet the AWARD WINNING Chef!!! I gotta go back!! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to keep their patrons dry during the rain when no one could be inside. We had fun, attentive service and delicious meals. And it was quite a large portion. Like the bar, great selection of drinks.

Came here for a birthday - we made dinner reservations very last minute for 8 people and the staff was super accommodating. However, THIS was an EATING establishment!!.. The meat was flavorful and tender. Chicago q Restaurant features artisanal house-made rubs and sauces and our chefs use wood burning smokers to create the most delicious BBq in Chicago. I'm sayin', OK, I think they're bragging a li'l bit so give me the ones that are just easy to remove , because I think he's just blowin BBQ smoke up you know where....WELL when the ribs came, I just looked at 'em...looked kinda plain to me.
