Cheers!I haven’t written with the gold nibs, but I find the steel ones to be fairly smooth writers so hopefully you’ll love it!Reminded me of my school days in Germany, up to age 15 we were required to write with proper ink pens (fountain or cartridge) and Pelikan and GeHa were the only makes to buy. While each of those pens have a deep, rich color that compliments their namesake nicely, none have had occasion to sparkle. Not confirmed, that this pen was sold as it is shown here by Pelikan. Will seriously consider picking this one up too.A tip I recently learned, for anyone like me who may also be new to Pelikans: the nib units unscrew easily, so you can also syringe-fill these pens to get the most out of an ink sample.I had one demonstrator, but it stained horribly from the ink. The M200 model has a steel nib while the M250 has a gold nib.Karstadt orderd M200 with the EXPO-Logo regarding the Exposition Mondiale (Expo) respectively the Worldâs Fair 2000.Order of the publisher Citroenpers (Dutch for Lemon Press) published on the 25th anniversary. Later on, the M200 had the Pelikan logo on the cap. These pens were given to stationery shops. After 1997 the crown cap was changed and a trim ring was added to the filling knob. How much smaller is the M100, because the M200 is just the right size for me. The size of the fountain pen is identical to the M400 which was manufactured since 1982. For the love of pens, paper, office supplies and a beautiful place to workI do love my Pelikans, so when we saw that Pen Chalet had the The Pelikan M205 Demonstrator has a pen body made of clear resin. It was possible to order fountain pens, too. I have the M205 in amethyst and love it.
