It's "hands on" with exercises and different ways to apply her RAIN process to take the book's content into the body where it can be fully lived. Sadly, many of those emotions leave us powerless.

I became more deeply aware of how to deepen self compassion and saw ways that surprised me where I am cut off from others. I'm not usually one for gimmicky anti-anxiety remedies but Tara presents a whole new way of looking at anxiety and pain and shows you how you can change your relationship with it by accepting the pain for what it is and being kinder to yourself.
