The purpose of the AREMI project is to bet… It is providing key information to the early stages of project development, allowing for an optimal energy supply solution to be identified.AREMI also serves as an extremely valuable tool for educating the general public about complex features of our national energy system, in a visual and easily manipulable format. The information displayed on the Australian Renewable Energy Mapping Infrastructure (AREMI) is for general informational purposes only, and is not intended to provide any commercial, financial, or legal advice. The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) today announced up to $2.1 million funding for National ICT Australia (NICTA) to develop an online national renewable energy mapping platform. Regional maps showing water quality, rainfall, land use, development constraints, soil capability and key infrastructure (gas, power and water pipelines) are available from Primary Industries and Regions SA. We provide a ‘one stop shop’ for all open geospatial data relevant to the energy sector stakeholders from government, industry and research. Or do you simply want to understand how your local area is transforming towards cleaner, reliable, and affordable renewable energy? We invest in projects to accelerate Australia’s shift to affordable reliable renewable energy. We do this by funding projects and sharing knowledge that drives innovation and commercialisation of renewable energy technologies. Our experts in energy technology, innovation and business are happy to share their knowledge with you and to learn from your experiences.Contact us to talk through your project, tricky question or business problem.
