(strange) The flavor was surprisingly peatier than I would have imagined for a single malt not produced in Scotland. This is the Double Cask expression, which spent two-thirds of its life in American oak bourbon barrels, and the other third in European oak sherry casks.

Our bottle of Rampur arrived in a gorgeous hand crafted silk pouch with embroidery within a beautiful white and gold canister, So it’s a luxury experience from the second you purchase the Whisky.As more of a Gin drinker, I must admit I was worried my palate wouldn’t be sophisticated enough to fully appreciate this whisky.
